Stainless Steel Footswitch

Ultra-robust footswitch for use in very harsh environments. No moving parts, switch employs pressure sensing technology to detect force applied to active surface.

Features

• Pressure detection. Switch detects foot pressure by sensing minute stresses in switch plate.
• Microprocessor controlled
• Single wire communications bus - allows two switches to be connected for tandem operation, a small safety delay then required between the triggering of the switches.
• Diagnostic port - The single wire communications bus doubles as a diagnostics output for analysing the operation of the switch.
• Digital Environmental Tolerance technology - Sensor use a variable detection threshold to allow operation in varying conditions. A continuous digital self-calibration process, implemented in firmware, enables the switch to cope with rapidly changing weather conditions.
• Tilt switch - A built in tilt switch shuts down the switch when not in the horizontal plane. Switch may be oriented for continuous operation in the vertical plane.
• Robust construction. Virtually indestructible housing cast in stainless steel.
