Audiopost - Outdoor Listening Posts

audio post

What are Audioposts?

Audioposts are audio information points. They can be installed anywhere outside or inside, along pavements in city centres, next to historic sites, in building foyers, alongside museum exhibits, anywhere where information is required.

Discrete, reliable, rugged ... while being pleasing to the eye!

Who can use them?

We have designed Audioposts to be inclusive. This means that information is more accessible to children and adults with or without disability. Often young children cannot read but can understand the spoken word, many people have difficulty reading, people who are visually impaired or perhaps have learning difficulties find audio information very visual. Our Audioposts can have hearing aid loops to assist the hearing impaired.

What type of information can be played?

The only limit is your imagination! The spoken word, historic, location or general information, poems, stories, bird or animal calls, music, sound effects, perhap the opening and closing times of your venue. Whatever the type of information you wish to communicate, Audioposts can play it.

Where can Audioposts be used?

Anywhere where information needs to be available. Outdoors or indoors, Audioposts can be installed as stand-alone or used to complement other types of interpretation in museums, historic sites, building foyer, city centres, zoos, nature walks, art exhibitions, for example. Audioposts can be adapted to suit your venue by changing the type of labelling, buttons and features to suit.

What features are available?

  • Hearing Aid Loops
  • Raised Text
  • Battery and / or Solar power for unmanned, unpowered sites

All our Audioposts are designed to be tough to withstand use and the elements. With no moving parts, they are solid and reliable.
